Controllable Temperature Robot Cover
Keep your robots running reliably — whatever the weather.
The Controllable Temperature Robot Cover from Tehu is a fully engineered, custom-fit protective suit that actively maintains a stable working environment for robot arms in both extreme cold and heat. Designed for repeatable industrial use, it combines thermal insulation, an internal heating/cooling system and modular serviceability so your automation keeps producing — not repairing.
Why choose Controllable Temperature Robot Cover?
Our climate-controlled robot protection cover prevents lubricant thickening, joint errors and sensor faults caused by extreme temperatures, while protecting against dust, splashes and sparks — extending robot life and minimizing unexpected downtime.
Advantages of the Special Care Q series climate protective clothing:
1. Highly customized, one machine one solution, the robot is no longer naked;
2. Reasonable design and cutting, beautiful appearance, detachable structure design, easy to repair and maintain, especially for robots that often need regular debugging and maintenance, saving labor and time;
3. Reusable, saving enterprise costs;
4. Rotating flanges can be installed on the 4th and 6th axes of the robot to improve the sealing and flexibility of the protective clothing and the robot. The protective clothing is entangled, has a longer service life, and provides better protection;
5. The special care climate protective clothing uses a special composite material, which contains thermal insulation and flame retardant cotton inside. It has certain thermal insulation, windproof, waterproof and fireproof properties. The internal heating system and temperature control system are combined to control the temperature around the robot at a normal working level.
5. In a low temperature environment of -40° to 0°, the temperature control suit can make the internal temperature of the protective suit reach above 20° through auxiliary heating, ensuring the normal operation of the robot in a low temperature environment;
6. In a high temperature environment of >40°, the temperature of the protective suit can be reduced to less than 40° by ventilating the temperature control suit, ensuring the normal operation of the robot in a low temperature environment;
Features
- · Custom-engineered to robot model and working environment (UR, ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Kawasaki compatibility when specified).
- · Composite outer shell + internal thermal insulation and flame-retardant cotton.
- · Built-in heating module for extreme-cold starts and forced-ventilation cooling for high ambient temperatures.
- · Rotating flange interfaces for 4th/6th axes to maintain seal and range of motion.
- · Detachable, washable modules for easy maintenance and reduced downtime.
Typical Applications
Cold-chain logistics, outdoor robotic stations, electronics manufacturing, medical device assembly, automotive body shops and any environment where temperature swings, dust, liquid spray or radiant heat threaten robot reliability. The system is particularly valuable where robots must start reliably in very low temperatures or operate near high-temperature processes.
Protecting actuators, cabling and sensors from temperature-induced failures reduces maintenance visits and component replacements. Maintaining stable internal temperatures improves cycle consistency, reduces scrap and increases mean time between failures (MTBF) — delivering measurable ROI across automated lines.
